Book Project

This was a breadth piece assigned to us in art class.  I had a lot of fun with this mainly because I have never made a book before.  It sort of expands like a harmonica.  It's really cool.  My subject is a ballerina and this whole book was inspired by pose-by-pose animation.  Each pose is supposed to represent a certain emotion building up to the final--elegance.

Medusa

Recently, I have been experimenting with shapes and flat planes as well as gouache.  My art teacher recommended this medium to me because she knows I am really into shapes and design.  I think this might be one of my favorite mediums ever! I love the fact it's opaque like acrylics yet flows like watercolor.  I might just use gouache for my series!
